Let's go back to Friday 23 August 2024. Alexis Taylor of Hot Chip made his way down to The Golden Lion for the very first time to DJ alongside Pilooski and Écureuil.
Supporting the evening proceedings was Calderdale Fantasy Orchestra - a local orchestra and community group that regularly performs and practices at The Golden Lion. On this night they performed a special rendition of Hot Chip's 'Over and Over' whereby Alexis Taylor decided to jump on stage and join in the madness.

What followed was a recorded cover version of the track by the Fantasy Orchestra with Alexis' vocals tracked over the top, backed up by the Fantasy choir. This is another example of the wonderful alchemy of circumstance that often occurs inside The Golden Lion.

In addition to the cover version of 'Over and Over', the record features three more tracks with appearances from close friends: Terry Logan, John Armstrong, Claire Broxup and Atholl Ransom.
